4-6 months

If you're like most companies, you have a few top players you'll be featuring on stage a lot - at conferences, trade shows, or customer and analyst events. You might want to make a deeper investment in their skills with follow on 1:1 Presentation Coaching.

Permanent long-term shifts in behavior happen faster with 'live' audience deadlines. Ideally we time this program around an upcoming event or presentation, so your team can implement their new skills immediately and experience new results for themselves. Change happens with high motivation, keen awareness, consistent risk, and practice, practice, practice.

I participated in the Annual Program for three of four quarters. It became obvious how 'Practice' impacted our progress. Over time, the new skills did become new habits. I was able to build upon my strengths and stretched myself to get to that next level. I'm much more confident today.

We meet twice a month for 1.5 hrs across 4 to 6 months in person or via Skype. I audio and video tape their delivery consistently during the program. Not only do your team members benefit, your company does as well. Articulate, effective presenters make a positive impression on your company's brand.

Day 1

In the morning, I work with your entire team on key presentations, demo’s or other critical communications. I push them as a group to take risks and experiment with new skills. They observe and learn from one another.

In the afternoon, we begin the 1:1 coaching. Each person receives individual feedback to gain an awareness of his/her style or strengths and areas to improve. I identify specific guidelines for each person so they know where to make adjustments.

Day 2

The 1:1's continue. We video tape, we audio tape, and improvements begin to sprout up. We work on stance, facial expressions, purposeful gestures, movement, opening strategies, verbal transitions between slides, ways to pump up the volume, slow down, vary the pitch, use more intensity, or master the power of the pause.

Day 3

We wrap up the 1:1's, do mini Dry Run’s, and  in the afternoon everyone presents to the whole team. I teach them how to do self-assessments and how to give their peers constructive, detailed meaningful feedback. I do spontaneous ‘live’ coaching in front of the group.

Whether launching a new release of your software or solution, finalizing a potential deal about to close, or knee deep in the middle of heated discussions around your innovation and go-to-market strategy, the Annual Coaching Program helps your team to focus their ideas and communicate with impact.

'Present like you mean it' becomes an internal mantra. With consistent follow up, accountability and support, high quality communication skills  become part of your company culture. Investing in your employees can be a motivator for attracting top talent or increasing employee retention rates.
